All Charleston County School District schools and offices will now be closed until April 13. Online work will continue until April 3, and spring break is scheduled to take place as previously scheduled from April 6 through April 10.

The S.C. High School League’s executive committee voted March 16 to suspend all spring sports until April 5.
The decision followed a press conference March 14 where S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster announcing the closure of all schools in South Carolina on March 15 until March 31.
The committee will reevaluate the situation on April 2.

Gov. Henry McMaster, in a media address March 15 in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic, said all schools, Pre K-12 and all public colleges and universities in South Carolina will be closed until March 31st.
Teachers and staff will report to school on March 16-17.
Online learning will be provided by school districts.
CCSD will offer “Grab & Go” style meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday at Laing Middle School for East of the Cooper students.

MLS is suspending its season until further notice.
The NBA has suspended the season until further notice.
NCAA has announced that all Division 1 men’s and women’s basketball tournaments will take place with only essential staff and limited family.
The Champions League and Europa League is suspended until further notice.
The MLB and NHL will postpone practices and games until they release statements regarding the coronavirus.
