Winner- Clemson: After a less than optimistic start, Clemson found their footing in a convincing 49-21 win over Georgia Tech. Their defense played outstanding, they forced multiple fumbles, shut down Georgia Tech’s triple option game and added a scoop and score in a dominating performance. On offense, Trevor Lawrence showed up big time, connecting on 13 of his 18 pass attempts for 176 yards, four touchdowns and one interception. With these performances becoming a regularity, Lawrence is inching closer to taking the starting job from Kelly Bryant.

Winner- Notre Dame: After opening the season with a big win over Michigan, the Irish had problems holding off Bowling Green and Vanderbilt. They made a change at quarterback, bringing in Ian Book for Brandon Wimbush for their game against Wake Forest . Book went off scoring five total touchdowns and leading Notre Dame to 56-27 route of Wake Forest.

Loser- Tennessee: Is it too soon to start #bringbackbutch? Tennessee has had a lot of embarrassing performances over the past two years, but their 47-21 loss to Florida might have been the worst. They turned the ball over 6 times and were lackadaisical on both offense and defense. Jeremy Pruitt needs to get a hold of this team quickly or Rocky Top could become Rocky Flop again pretty quickly.

Loser- Virginia Tech: They lost to Old Dominion. There’s really no analysis needed there.
