Starbucks TikTok Drinks (Is the secret menu…really that secret?)

We’ve all been there, scrolling through TikTok and you see a beautiful bright pink drink from Starbucks that is bigger than your head. You can almost hear your brain calling out, “I want that,” but when you think of ordering something that’s gonna cost $8 to your usual $5 drink, you get a little suspicious. If you’re gonna try anything from Starbucks’s secret menu you better have a sweet tooth, I tried 3 drinks that tailored to my taste of a medium kind of sweetness, and everything is definitely worth the try. 

¨Pink Drink¨ with Matcha Cold Foam

The coined “Pink Drink” that was once a secret menu item has now turned into a real menu item is definitely worth the hype no matter what anyone says. I got the Pink Drink with a twist, matcha cold foam. I know what it sounds like, but imagine a strawberry marshmallow with an earthy taste. Repulsive sounding really. I give it a 6.6/10 because I´m not a huge fan of super sweet drinks, but overall an okay taste. 

Mango Dragon Fruit Refresher blended

This drink has become the critically acclaimed Starbucks drink of TikTok and it took some deep diving to find the recipe for it, or rather what to ask for. You ask for whatever size you’d like and a Mango Dragon Fruit refresher with lemonade, strawberry and Dragon Fruit inclusions blended. A mouthful to say the least, but by far one of the best Starbucks drinks I’ve ever tasted. It’s like a mango lemonade smoothie, the perfect post quarantine summer drink. 10/10 for whoever came up with this one.

Iced Chai with Sweet Cream Cold Foam

Last, but not least, the Iced Chai with Sweet Cream Cold Foam. Chai tea is a sweet and spicy tea renowned for its fragrant aroma. If you like the Christmas joy all year long, this one’s for you. The flavor of Chai Tea is an acquired taste because of the popular spices added that include cardamom, cinnamon, fennel, black pepper and cloves, although star anise, coriander seeds and peppercorns are other well-liked options. Though, I may be a bit biased due to the fact I´ve been drinking this for months. 8.5/10. 

The viral Starbucks drinks are marvelous and a godsend to the people who don´t love the taste of coffee. There is no end to the deliciousness. There are hundreds of videos telling you what to get and the sky isn’t even the limit with this one. Enjoy annoying your local Starbucks baristas.
