Joe Weeks drives from his home in Pawley’s Island, where he’s lived since 2001, to invite people to see his birds and take pictures with them. Weeks used to work at a dog kennel on Pawley’s, but as he started losing his memory, he prayed about it and says “the Lord told me to take these birds out and share them with the public”. He started in Murrells Inlet and “decided to come down to Charleston on the weekends because it’s such an interesting place to be” with “beautiful architecture and lots of interesting people.”
