2019 AP Lang Foxians

2019 AP LANG FOXIANS,
Each one of you has a special place in my heart. You were not classmates. You were not my students. I was not your teacher. We were – and are – a family. Everyday was a new adventure with a few familiar stops along the way, like who was going to be tardy (Eva, Reid, Alexis), early (Kaya, Jackson, Katy, Lauren N, Grace), right on time (most days anyway Hana, Reed, Haris, Lauren, Sophie, Julia), eating (Luke and probably me, too), talking (everyone), Katy and Lauren rushing in to secure their spot on the couch before class started, and so many more. And… how can we ever forget the day that was going to be a “Great Day!!”?? The day that started with a tervis filled with hot, delicious smelling oatmeal sitting atop a desk so innocent, so unsuspecting, until…I slid across the room only to be stopped by the very desk holding my yummy oatmeal which sent it flying into air until gravity took over and the tervis slammed onto the floor and the oatmeal splashed across the floor. We laughed so hard, we cried and thankfully Julia captured that moment with her phone! Every time I think back to that day — Lucy Beckham Day — I cannot help but laugh. And then the inaugural hot cocoa bar!!! But, the pinnacle is the video that I cannot wait to watch with y’all Zoom-party style and watch you open up our time capsule!! There’s so much more. You are so much more than just students in my class. You all have a special place in my heart and I wish you all the best in all your future endeavors. I know that whatever the next chapter holds for you, it will be one filled with success!! I love y’all and wish you all the best!!! You make Mama Fox proud. Very. xoxo
