Wando’s chorus class takes place in a new type of classroom, one outdoors. Due to COVID regulations, choir students are not allowed to practice inside. Even with mask, students and teachers are at a higher risk of contracting COVID while singing because more air is projected while singing. Students were limited to humming while inside the classroom, but the teachers decided to move outside so they can sing. They are still practicing social distancing and wearing masks, but being outside allows them to practice normally.
