Poetry in the heart
Junior Rowland Marshall competed against nine other contestants from across the Charleston region at the Regional Poetry Out Loud Competition Jan. 26 at the College of Charleston Stern Center. Marshall and his fellow participants went through two rounds of poetry recitation in order to qualify for State Finals on March 14.
Four contestants were selected to go through to the State Finals, with Marshall being one of them.
