What is your favorite high school memory?

“My favorite high school memory was prom last year. (What made it so memorable) was getting dressed up and dancing with my best friends… It felt exciting to get all dressed up and dancing was really fun.”

What do you think you will be remembered for?

“I am in Beta Club and AP Academy, so I’ve done a lot of community service. I volunteered at the special needs prom in North Charleston last year… It felt rewarding to help out for a cause that I really care about. My mom works with special needs kids so they always have a spot in my heart.”

How has competitive dance impacted your high school career?

“Competitive dance has taught me how to create a schedule that allows for a balance of homework and extracurriculars… I think that dance has taught me to utilize the small time that I have and make the most out of it. It also has made me have a strong work ethic in and out of dance.”

What are your plans for the future?

“I plan on going to the University of South Carolina and studying political science and then hopefully on to law school… I’m looking forward to meeting new people and going to football games the most.”
