Wando honors spring senior athletes from stadium

On Friday, April 24 at 8:20 p.m., the lights of the sports fields were turned on for the first time since March.
From the CCSD stadium, the school read the names of senior athletes who would not be able to play their final season at Wando due to the closing of school for the school year.
The lights of the Wando sports fields were turned on at 8 p.m. and names were read at 8:20 p.m. on April 24. "I am super sad the season ended because the group of girls this year just had a really strong connection," said senior varsity lacrosse player Anna Turner. "I'm gonna miss them and the program a lot."
