Week 6: McCrady Andrews

How’s your season going so far?
We’re doing good. We had a bit of a rough start but once regions started we started doing a lot better. We’re turning it around a lot this year. At the beginning it was a little rough but now we’re getting the hang of things. It’s all coming together.
Why do you play Basketball?
It’s something I love to do. I don’t expect to be doing it in the future or for that long– except for with my friends. Right now, it’s something I love to do to get my mind off of other things and provides a way to forget about all of my stress.
What is your favorite part about Basketball?
It’s a mix of hanging out with the team and getting to know them and the coaching staff. The games are fun to go to and fun to play in. You never forget all the adrenaline and the rush you get from playing basketball.
How has Basketball impacted you?
It’s introduced me to a bunch of new people. It’s helped me become much more involved in the community and opened up many doors for me through different camps and programs and stuff, so I got to experience a lot of things that I never would have experienced before.
