Tribal Tribune receives a Pacemaker from NSPA

Tribal Tribune received a Pacemaker at the National Scholastic Press Association’s fall convention in Chicago Nov. 3.
In addition, junior Eva Chillura won first place for feature writing and senior Cooper Lockett won fourth place for editorial writing.

Other winners included Haley Havelock’s honorable mention for feature writing. Former Tribal Tribune staff members Lydia Gardner and Zach Green won honorable mention in front page design, and Carley Knight-Carrier won an honorable mention in environmental portrait.

Tribal Tribune also placed fourth in Best of Show special section.
