Wando Participates in National Walkout

Seventeen minutes of silence.
Seventeen names of students and teachers who were killed in a school shooting in Florida in February.
Wando participated in the Nationwide School Walkout March 14, with students lining the hallways at 10 a.m. and standing together in silence for 17 minutes each minute in remembrance of the 17 students and faculty killed at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in February.
Wando’s walkout paralleled with schools throughout the district and nation, all protesting and shining a light on the recent events.
