Orchestra Concert February 27

Straighten the bow tie. Make sure the sheet music is ready. Turn down the lights. Take a deep breath. And let the performance begin.
On Tuesday, Feb. 27 and Thursday, March 1 Wando’s Honors and Chamber Orchestras performed in their pre-concert festival concert; a performance aimed at practicing for their upcoming national competition in Atlanta, Georgia.
This concert was also a way for the Orchestra to receive feedback and critique to improve the performance to be played in front of a panel of judges at the competition.
“I thought we were ready. I thought that was nothing else we could do to prepare (for nationals). It was a good feeling. I feel like we were all just really excited,” Senior Alexandra Lord said.
