Family is everything. Especially when they race you in unbelievably fast cars.

“The Fate of the Furious” is the eighth movie in the Fast and Furious series, and it’s definitely one of the best.

In the beginning, Dom and Lettie (Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez) are smiling, happy and proud in Puerto Rico on their honeymoon, when an unexpected new face named Cipher (Charlize Theron) threatens Dom with surprising news.

And just like that, she forces Dom to turn his back on his only family.

As the beginning starts to spread, the action starts to get more intense and fierce as everyone pulls together to go after Dom as fast as they can.

Just like all the other Fast and Furious movies, the street racing is beyond exciting and powerful that it made me not want to look away from the screen. My eyes were glued.

As the movie goes deeper and deeper into finding out what Dom and Cipher are up too, Cipher ends up showing Dom the one thing she has over him. If he ever loses it, he would be crashed, making him stop at nothing to keep it safe.

This made me so lost and worried because I knew Dom would even hurt his friends for all of this. To cover his own back. My heart wrenched.

A series known for street racing and explosions attached me to its characters, and made me feel close to them, and care about them and their actions. The film focused on this “family” that would stop at nothing to protect each other, even when one of its home betrays it.

A touching movie after all the action, which is exactly why the The Fate of the Furious was an excellent addition to one of the best series of all time.
