Wando Key Club joins with SC Sea Grant Consortium to keep our beaches clean

Wando students help keep our shores clean

The Key Club joined with S.C. Sea Grant Consortium Oct. 20 for one of their many beach sweeps.

The clean up was done on Folly Beach with the help of around 25 high school students.

While cleaning up, the students were asked to record the trash they found on a chart provided by the SC Sea Grant Consortium. The event lasted for two hours and the students that participated were given appropriate community service hours.
