Wando’s Theatre department participated in the 50th South Carolina Theater Association’s Annual Convention on Nov 13.

The Warrior’s theater department placed fifth out of 29 in the state for its one act rendition of the Velveteen Rabbit for the first time since 2011.

“We were stunned,” said Director and drama teacher Lori Carroll. “We did not expect to place… and we saw some really really amazing work over the weekend.”

In addition to the cast’s performance, two students received individual recognition. Jah’mar Coakley and Mara Pfeil were both named members of the State All Star Cast.
