Men’s Choir, Wando Singers and Concert Choir perform for the Winter Concert
Three choirs from the Wando Chorus program held a Winter Concert Dec. 11.
Men’s Choir, Wando Singers and Concert Choir opened the show by performing a few pieces of music together before splitting off into their separate choirs.
Each group performed two pieces of music the students had learned over the last few months.
After each choir was done with their separate performances, they came back to perform a plethora of Christmas songs, ranging from light-hearted beatboxing to “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas” to a beautiful and chilling rendition of “Silent Night,” where some members of the choirs stepped into the aisles of the audience and held candles to illuminate the dimmed room.
All in all it was a festive night filled with beautiful music and passionate performers.
