Miss Wando Photo Gallery
Freshman Emma Ridenhour was crowned Miss Wando at Wando’s annual pageant on Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. With the theme of “Beauty Redefined”, the pageant started off with an opening number to One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful” featuring all contestants. The girls then competed in a variety of different contests-opening statements, a talent portion, and a poise competition. Wando alumni Faith Mitchell came back to her old stomping grounds with her Miss Wando 2018 crown and sash and hosted the ceremony along with AP Human Geography teacher Jason Brisini.
Class misses included Bella Ullo as Miss Freshman, Lucy Oxford as Miss Sophomore, Evita Royer as Miss Junior and Madison Frank as Miss Senior. Other awards were Most Ads received by freshman Caroline Sharp, Most Talented received by senior Dahnielle Milton and senior Madison Frank receiving Miss Congeniality.
