Seventeen Wando students showed their talents, ranging from song and dance to yo-yo tricks on Nov. 2 at the Wando talent show.

The thirteen single and group acts lit up the stage and impressed the judges.. But in the end, only four acts could be recognized.

For the People’s Choice, Megan Mims and her song “Make You Feel My Love.

Third place went to Frankie Antonelli with his rendition of Darius Ruckers “Come Back Song.”

Second went to Junior Savannah Wright  and her powerful performance of the Hairspray song “I Know Where I’ve Been.”

Finally, first place went to Phillip Perez and his awe inspiring yoyo performance.

Judged by Shila Rhiel, Lani Harbit, and Darrell Wright, the talent show was a resounding success.

After the show, former Wadno student and pop artist Young Renzo performed two songs from his EP album, “Fox Tales.” The crowd loved his performance and the line for pictures and autographs of him filled the aisles of the Performing Arts Center.

The night was full of great performances, laughter, and cheers.
