Wando Volleyball moves into the State Championship

The Wando volleyball team won the Class AAAAA Lower State Championship on Nov. 6 for the sixth year in a row. Next, the team will play in the State Championship.

Wando beat Lexington High School in three games, winning the first game with a score of 25-23, the second with a score of 25-10, and the third with a score of 25-17.

With a record of 49-3, Wando will compete against Nation Ford High School on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. at White Knoll High School in Columbia for the state championship.
Wando has lost in the finals the past two years to Dorman High School from Roebuck, S.C.
